What is the distance between the feet? Current 40" HDTV sits on small table because it has a center pedestal type stand which I prefer, but looks like no longer exist on TVs selling nowadays. Wonder if current stand could somehow be attached to new TV. null

Stands are available that use the VESA holes that are also used for mounting on a wall. The holes are about 9" apart, therefore the feet are 9"apart. I paid $25 for mine, including all bolts, spacers,and washers.

One would think that manufacturers would include that little ditty with every spec sheet!
Sadly for every tv I look at I have learned the only way one can easily find that important piece of information is in the questions section!

we used a wall bracket and mounted it on the wall. it can be moved in any/all direction. easy enough for me to install. about 6 feet.

Best Buy states the width between the legs is just over 37", one inch less than one of the answers given, so check with BB if the difference is critical. Also, it has a standard VESA mount, so if the one you have has a 200 x 200 configuration, you're in like Flynn.

I believe the very sturdy and useful center pedestal stand which I also have currently is superior to the flimsy far apart legs they provide now. It's probably so that we must buy a stand.

No it can't. Best Buy sells a Sanus, swivel style stand that would work nicely but it costs $149.99. The sku is 5463304.

I just bought a Sceptre 32" which has two positions where the feet can be attached; I put them on the inside position and it works fine. Sceptre also has a 43" that I'm about to buy from Walmart and I assume it will also have the 2 options for the feet.
