“Thank You ! Best Buy-Insignia for still offering "plain" tvs. I prefer to add on a ROKU for streaming. It makes troubleshooting easier. Does anyone else feel the same way?”

OMG, YES!! We bought a smart TV and have roku on another. There is always something going on with the "smart" one. It turns off whenever it wants, some apps just refuse to play, its very glitchy and overall annoying!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.TOTALLY agree wanting a NON-SMART tv. I am lucky that I still have 3 NON-SMART TVs. I use the firestick to stream so it temporarily converts this to smart tv but better control like this. When i want to watch a dvd, i select diff HDMI source and dont have to annoyed with the apps that linger on the tv. BUT i am in market for another NON-SMART tv and gong to buy this 43 inch. Wish best buy made a bigger size like a 50 in would be nice. If they do, i am not aware.

There is no way to turn off the incredibly annoying "Samsung TV Plus" ad-supported "free service" that assaults you with automatic streaming of some gawdawful show the minute you turn on the darn thing. I may be a dinosaur with a dinosaur TV but at least I won't want to throw something at it!

Please try again later.I wanted a plain TV also and was happy to find this one.Sadly it doesn't last long.Bought in Aug 2022 and pixels and lines and extreme brightness all showed up after about 6 months of normal use.Cheap but not worth the money if it doesn't even last nine months.
