Q?( Related to optical output ) -- Can I send HDMI to TV, then output from the optical-out to a separate sound setup? is the volume of opt-out controlled by the remote, or needs separate device/receiver?? I've never used opt-out from TV.. Thx in advance.. null

Yes, I gave hdmi run from my cable box to tv. 
I do not have a separate sound set up, the sound works good for me the way it is, I have my cable remote setup for the tv, so I only need one remote.
