I have read reviews of various freezers & some customers say to check if the freezer you are buying is rated for the garage where temps in the winter get below freezing. We live in eastern Idaho but our garage is insulated. Does booklet give any info? null

Do not put this in a garage. Pamphlet says warranty void if not kept inside house. It says not for garages it is not heavy duty. I am small and can lift it off of the ground by myself.

I kept it in my garage. I didn't even bother to read the manual. I do have two large upright freezer in my garage already. 
They all work great.
