• The door can be removed. It’s designed so you can change the direction from which the door opens, whether to the left or right.

• If you will do this as carefully as possible, yes you can proceed, remove the door and the hinges. The depth on this freezer with the door is 21.7 (55cm) and the depth without the door is 19.2 (48.7cm). Adolfo M. - Insignia Products
