• The unit is defrosted by unplugging it and letting the frost melt.

• That means your seal is bad. Return it to the store before your 1 year warranty is up. Leave a review. I unplugged mine and left the door open with a towel on the floor to catch the water. Took a few hours but it defrosted. Then I returned it.
