The device should turn off when it reaches the desired humidity level, if the humidity level goes up the unit should turn back on again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, I do not believe so based on what I have experienced. If your humidifier is running - you can set the auto-off timer when it will turn off. If its turned off - you can set the auto-on. In the comfort mode - the humidifier turns off and turns on - it tries to maintain humidity around 50-52% , though you may want to check product documentation to see the exact range.
