The humidity range is 35% to 85%. The working temperature is between 41°F to 89°F (5°C to 32°C). This unit has auto defrost function.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does defrost itself. humidity range is 35 to 85. I'm not sure of the temperature but it runs way cooler and quieter than my 10 year old DeLonghi. My DeLonghi pulled more moisture out faster but it heated the room too much I'm glad I bought this item.

This unit is pretty good, but I have a bigger version (name brand model) and there is 9 to 10 degree disparity between the two. In other words, when the name brand states 45 degrees, the insignia model states 35/36 degrees. For the price...is pretty good.
