• I can the past YouTube directly to the TV via the Roku app for YouTube. I have not tried to cast anything else

• Yes you can cast directly to this tv although the casting is limited with my iPhone. I can’t answer for android users. I’ve read in some forums that android devices can cast almost anything to this tv, but I cannot confirm that.
