Will this TV play a continuous loop off of USB? null

My experience is no. It takes a rolling DVR capture of a single channel with first in first out. So, depending on the size of the USB key inserted, it will capture as much as it can but perhaps limited to 50 mins, and then it will capture more current content by discarding the oldest. It is not a generic DVR functionality such that you can record from any channel while watching another. It only records from the current channel and as soon as channels are changed it deletes the prior content entirely and starts recording on the new channel.
