“Unpacked and plugged in. All seemed ok, until I noticed the light didn’t turn on when I opened the lid (all the way). Thought it was a bulb that needed to be replaced, but saw that it was an LED light after removing the cover. Any ideas on what to do?”

Try different socket please. Most morden socket has its on switches. Pleas look deeper.
