Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Whereas extremely cold temperatures may also prevent the freezer from performing properly.

I haven’t had any issues with that or anything else with this freezer. We simply plugged it in when it arrived and it’s been forgotten about until we go out there for something. It’s been very reliable
A:AnswerNo, this freezer is not frostless. I have had for less than a month. I noticed light frost, but nothing major. It is not a self - defrosting freezer.
I believe you will need to defrost it when necessary
I did find some freezer pads on Amazon that cut down frost build-up ( they are light blue)
