Small footprint with a lot if freezer space. Perfect for my apartment. I have it stored in the laundry closet along with a dryer and a washer. Makes no noise. Gives out almost no heat signature. Works excellently. Light weight, easy to move for cleaning.

Lightweight and compact. Love the space inside. In love with the light inside. Come with an ice scrapper and hanging basket. Easy to get started, took little time to freeze once plugged up. Can barely hear it running!

This small freezer is wonderful. Replaces a slightly bigger very old, not so cold freezer. It freezes well, I really appreciate the light in the lid. Brightens the whole freezer interior. Holds everything we want to keep in it.

This freezer is fantastic! This Insignia 7.0 cu ft freezer is a solid choice if you need extra freezer space without breaking the bank. It's surprisingly roomy for its size, easily holding a large amount of food. The temperature control is straightforward, and it keeps everything consistently frozen. It's also pretty quiet, which is a nice bonus.

Really happy with the freezer, compact and light hence very roomy inside. Works perfectly. And for the price... Definitely the best buy!!! Just plug it and started to work right away.

The first place that came to my mind when i wanted to look for a chest freezer was Best Buy. The have the best selection of products, great customer service, and purchase/financing options. I chose to pickup the freezer as I saved the $30 delivery charge. The Insignia 7 cubic foot model I purchased is a perfect size. I like the light that automatically goes on when i open the door. I recommend this product. I am very satisfied with the customer service received at the store, no wait time, and fast transaction time.

Great freezer to supplement kitchen refrigerator. Plenty of storage, light under lid, closes securely, easy set up ( me and my 14 y.o. son carried it in, not heavy at all), fit inside of my Odyssey no problem, placed it on rubber door mat, vents minimal heat from bottom right, after 48 hours start up placed meats etc inside it froze them up and then I dialed temp control back to about 4:00 position where it has maintained cold rock solid food. Runs dead silent. Came with one basket, bought 2 more from Encompass part # 12932000000583 like $7 ea

I got the **Insignia 7.0 cu. ft. chest freezer** for extra storage and it's been great so far. Super spacious—easily fits all the bulk items I used to cram into my main freezer. It runs really quietly and hasn’t had any issues, even though I keep it in the garage. I like the simple layout and the basket it comes with helps keep smaller things organized, but I do wish it had a second one. Manual defrost isn’t my favorite, but it’s not hard to manage. Also, the price was solid—definitely feels like a good value for the size. Only heads-up is to check it carefully when it arrives. Mine was fine, but I’ve seen others mention small dents from delivery. Overall, I’d recommend it if you need a reliable backup freezer that can handle garage temps. I also got additional bins from amazon and use it at the fullest capacity and well-organized.

Reviewing: Insignia’s NS-CZ70WH0 7 cu ft chest freezer with overhead light. I purchased this on July 13, 2022. It’s now November 4, 2022. I’m a 53 yr old, 140 lb male, who does’t work out & whose mustles have atrophied a bit (due to age & not working out), who lives alone with 2 cats, and who eats exclusively at home, except for 1 fast food sandwich per month, on average (facts relevant to unit’s weight & size). Intended placement: in my living room, where room temp ranges from 68-74 degrees. My biggest concerns at the time of purchase were: 1. Is it too big for my needs? 2. Too small? Answer: It’s now full and is PERFECT for my needs. I’d regret the purchase if I’d gone smaller; larger would have been overkill. 3. Is it a quality brand? Answer: Yes! It’s made by Haier (per my findings on the web), is identical (likely same maker) to Cosco’s Midea freezer, except that Midea’s can also be used as a refrigerator (and costs 20-30% more. 4. Will the temperature be cold enough? Answer: I bought a Taylor brand mechanical freezer thermometer from a different store that showed temperature in the store to be 70 degrees (seemed accurate to me). At middle temerature setting, the thermometer read exactly zero degrees. At coldest setting, I *think* it read -9 degrees (relying on memory, here). 5. Will I regret not buying one with an option to use it as a refrigerator? Answer: No! I can’t imagine ever giving up the freezer space for that. 6. Will it potentially have been damaged at the factory, and if so, will I have a hard time convincing Best Buy of that, for exhange? Answer: I wanted to open it in-store, with a Best Buy employee as my witness, but the middle aged, long-time appliace guy at Best Buy assured me that I could return it for full refund within 14 days, no questions asked, even if damaged, but also told me: Insignia’s NEVER get returned; Samsungs and other brands do, but never Insignia’s. That spoke volune to me, of Insignia’s quality. 7. Do I really need a light inside the freezer? Answer: Yes! External lighting doesn’t always work so well. I’d’ve likely used a flashlight often, (when I could find mine) had it not had its own light. 8. Will it be easy to move around, if the need arrises? I was able to lift and carry the box into my house and place it, with zero problems. Moving it safely would have been exceedingly difficult and risky, had I opened it at Best Buy. The top, and 4 sides of the box slide right off after the straps are cut. I’m glad Best Buy’s appliance guy talked me out of doing that! 9. Will it be loud? Answer: No! I can hear a very quiet click when it turns on or off; otherwise, it’s silent. 10. When I first opened it, I saw a very small gap between metal plate linings, but came to the conclusion that this was only to provide a surface for frost, and was not a gap in insulation. Conclusion: I should have bought this years ago! If it ever breaks down, I’d want an identical replacement. For me, this is THE ONE! If I only had the same luck with women and guitars…

This chest freezer was just delivered today, and I'm loving it so far! What a relief to not have to solely rely on my refrigerator's freezer any more. I'm really impressed with the build quality and capacity. I've never purchased something like this online without seeing it first, but with as scarce as these are nowadays, I had to just go for it when it was finally in stock - and I'm happy I did! The courtesy light was a nice surprise, and it's a lot brighter and more useful than I thought it would be. The freezer is extremely quiet as well, which is especially important to me as I have this in my basement home theater.

I have a 10 cubic foot freezer full of meat and produce and needed anotger smaller one for the massive amount of corn/greenbeans/wax beans/peppers/broccoli that my garden has produced this year. Plus I'll have room for a few thanksgiving sale turkeys. Oh it also has a light. That is great my older one does not and i have a flashlight magnet on it lol If youve never tried one you have to put some turkey breasts in herb butter in a sous vide. The most tender-mouth watering turkey breast you've never had. Lightly brown under the broiler after removing from the sous vide. (Best buy sells sous vide machines too I'm sure.) I've had it a few weeks now and its working beautifully. One word of advice -grab a nice pair of thick gloves and put them on a command hanger right on the freezer side or front. I always end up digging a bit and oof! Its hard on my hands. If I have any issues I'll update.

We needed some extra freezer space and this fit the bill perfectly. The unit runs super quiet and keeps a constant below-freezing temperature. I originally set the temp to three-quarters of a turn - near maximum, but backed off to just under half and the freezer maintains a temp just below zero.

Great little freezer. Lightweight. Easy to unload and set up. My husband, the ice cream man, said the temp needs to be -10 to store ice cream. Checked with thermometer. It was 10 below zero at recommended setting.

I bought this chest freezer two weeks ago during the Black Friday sale, and so far, it’s been a good purchase. Picking it up from the store was manageable for a healthy person, and it fit well in an SUV. If you’re moving it to floors above the first, you might need an elevator or two people to carry it. Setup was straightforward—just wait for two hours before plugging it in. It runs on a standard outlet, and the cooling performance has been excellent. I haven’t noticed much noise during operation, which is a plus. There hasn’t been any ice buildup inside yet, so defrosting hasn’t been necessary. Overall, it’s a reliable freezer with quiet and efficient performance. A solid choice so far!

Perfect for Garage space. Has a basket and a 2nd floor separation. Very sleek and hassle free installation. Just plug in. So far working so good. Satisfied with the purchase.

We are loving our new chest freezer. It’s the perfect size for our family of 3 at a great price. We love the basket at the top for smaller items and the small shelf below it to help with organizing. The freezer has a small light so we know it’s working without opening it. Lost a star because the first one we brought home was damaged (dented at plug area) before it was placed in the box and we had to exchange it.

It is pretty spacious, works quietly. Will check later electricity bill to be able understand how much its uses energy. You need good space in kitchen, or in a house, as it size of typical washer or dryer. Im 56 pounds can move it myself if it is not loaded. As I just got it recently cant say what it looks like in long run, but will update review in case of troubles with it. I can recommend get it but for so you need have or hire a truck, as delivery option is not available for this appliance.

Works great, very quiet, the light inside the lid is a welcome touch. The hanging bin at the top is great for small items. The light by the temperature control knob is an easy way to see it's working. Lots of storage space for a small unit. There are adjustable feet on the bottom to help level it. Not too heavy either so its easy to move around. Love it !

I'm so happy I got this chest freezer. Been wanting one for awhile. We needed more room for frozen foods and its perfect. It got cold in just a couple hours after plugging in. We've had it in our garage for almost a month now. Even comes with a light inside. Delivery was quick. I had to take it out the box myself though. Delivery guys just left it in my garage. If I ever need another one I will definitely buy again.
