Will this work with chromecast with google tv? null

If your TV has Android TV built in, like many Sony TVs, then yes, the TV will pass the 4 Arrow Keys, OK, and Back button commands on to the attached Chromecast with Google TV device. I was very surprised when this worked. But the Home button will take you back to Android TV, not Google TV. A better remote to use for what you are asking for is a Fire TV remote or Fire TV Pro remote since these are Bluetooth remotes while this Insignia remote is IR (infrared) only.
