i purchased 2 to long ago. i usually only have to use 1 controller for both cause it syncs in together i'm pretty sure. but sometimes they won't sync and i can never get the same colors to appear on both. how can i recalibrate them or reset them ? null

Try this:
1. Turn OFF the tape light.   
2. After turn off, speedily press "W" and "SMOOTH" buttons. You will see the light flash. 
3. Turn ON the tape light, check it is reset or not. If not repeat 1st step.
4. After several time(1-5times) reset process, the remote will make sync with tape light.
