“I have AT&T U-VERSE SETUP USING THERE RECEIVER. i am trying to get channel 10 WBNS. TV. THE OWNER OF THAT CHANNEL HAS REMOVED IT FROM THE CHANNEL LINE UP. I HAVE A COAX CONNECTION ON THE REAR OF THE SMART TV THAT IS FOR AN ANTENNA CONNECTION.”

This antenna is connected to the TV using the ANT connector which is basically a coax connection. If the channel you are trying to watch is broadcast locally and you live within its range, then this antenna should be able to catch it. The range of this Insignia antenna is around 40 miles, meaning it will catch signals from a transmitting station up to 40 miles away.
