Mine is about 8 feet from my window, on the TV stand. Great reception!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is against an interior wall and works well in my brick ranch. It does take some time to find the right spot but I live in the suburbs and do not need it near a window.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. I just keep it near my TV on the top of my shelving unit. Light weight small 19" tv and this antenna is also light too. Good reception. In top floor of apt building, no interference yet. :-)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I have mine in the garage.works well with the door down
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Will most likely work better if you place by a window, but its reception is dependent on conditions, so hook it up where you want it and see how many channels you can draw in. If good enough then the answer is no, if not you can add some coaxial cable to extend it and then try it again. I am 30 miles away and receive 58 channels. I am facing away from the mountain with the repeater and have a brick home and trees all around. The antennae is inside and about 2 ft from the window and 6 ft high.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not always.. only if it doesn't work inside/next to the TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my case no I do not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Al. It is much better if the antenna is near a window so it can receive the over-the-air signal. Carlos V. - Insignia Support https://www.insigniaproducts.com/contact-us
