• I really don't know about a basement without window. You may get a few channels but not all of them. I have mine set up not near any windows and I am getting all the channels. You can always purchase it and if it doesn't work return it. The most important thing is download the RCA Station antenna app to find out where is the closest signal station because it is important you have it facing in that direction, if I don't face it in that direction I only get about 2 stations. Hope this helps
