Bought it. Doesn’t flipping work. I’m running Windows 10, but it won’t automatically install the drivers. In fact, it still thinks it doesn’t have any Bluetooth capability at all. This adapter just does not work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The drivers have been digitally signed by Microsoft and are built into the kernel of the device itself, which goes to MS website to get the actual full driver. There have been known issues with Windows 10 and the drivers but it has been mostly with home built computers. If you have a manufactured computer, Dell, HP, Compaq, etc., you should be fine. BB has a good return policy ; ) just for this reason. JT
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.i just pluged it in to my desktop it installed itself and bam it worked with my skull candy headphones
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Never got it to work with Windows 10, had to go back to Windows7
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am using it on windows 10. just go into your device manager, right click on the device (it will be listed under bluetooth) and then click update driver. it will install the driver automatically after doing this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a USB Bluetooth Adapter. It says on the back of the package: FEATURES: Bluetooth 4.0. I just rated this item. And the rating site lists it as: Insignia-Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter-Black. So I am assuming that I have the same Adapter that you have enquired about. I just turned my ASUS A75X1 Laptop on. And the adapter automatically connected my Laptop to my Amazon ECHO Bluetooth Device. I updated my Laptop to Windows 10 PRO 8 days ago. So, I am assuming that Microsoft has done something in anticipation of drivers needed for Bluetooth adapters. Again, I say that I am assuming!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I am using it on a Windows 10 Toshiba laptop, I had to uninstall all the Toshiba factory Bluetooth drivers (which weren't working anyway). Haven't had any problems with it thus far/
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've not found any new drivers either. I bought one and tried it with my laptop with windows 10 and I've had some nasty issues once it was installed and plugged in. I kept getting a kernel auto boost lock acquisition with raised IRQL. Once I removed the Bluetooth from the computer I quit doing it. I did note that Broadcom has not updated any of the dll's since 2014 and for 8.1. I would be very cautious on buying and loading it. Like I said, once the blutooth was pulled out the blue screens quit. I am on line right now with Insignia tech support to see what they have to say and so far they are blaming windows since it's so new and it's only certified to work with up to windows 8.1. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I never got it to work with my windows 7 ultimate. Works fine with home premium though. Good luck though.
