• I don't use MacOS, but I plugged it into an old HP desktop (circa 2009) and booted it up with the installed Linux Mint Xfce. It was immediately recognized and had no trouble connecting to a bluetooth speaker.

• It explicitly does NOT support Mac OS per the instructions that I read after I bought one for my Mac OS computer. :)

• Most MacOS devices made somewhat recently should have bluetooth built-in.
