“So i got a 240 hz monitor but i dont have a display port slot on my pc but i do have hdmi. WIll this adapter still get me to 240 hz. i would use the display port on my monitor then my hdmi on my grapics card”

• This will not work for you because you do not have an available DisplayPort for the male end of the adapter. It converts DisplayPort to HDMI in the sense that you must plug an HDMI into the female end and then plug the adapter into your computer with the DisplayPort male end.

• Yes it should have no problem getting you 240hz
