QuestionWill this support display port to HDMI 2.0? I want to be able to send 4k to my 4k tv. My video card does not have hdmi- Only display port, however the card is more than capable of 4k.

- Answer It will display 4K but it will be in 30HZ only. It has to be an active adapter to get 60hz. This will work if all you want to do is watch movies.

- Answer Hello, we need way more information than you are providing I think. What type of phone ? What resolution do you expect? Regardless, I have had less than satisfactory results with my rotary phone, but I really don't expect it to support it anyways.

QuestionI have a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TI, which has 1 displayport, 1 HDMI port, and a DVI port. I currently have 1 monitor hooked up via HDMI, and I have a 2nd monitor which does not have a display port, but has an HDMI. Can I use this to use the 2nd monitor?

- Answer Yes you can use this to have a duel monitor setup. Plug the dport in the the GPU. Then attach the hdmi on the other end and then of course the monitor. Keep in mind having two screens will hurt performance. So I’m not sure how capable a 1050 is these days for running newer games and duel screens at the same time.

- Answer No, its just an adapter from one video standard to another video standard. Not a USB video adapter. Get a USB video device, and make sure it sends out a ARC Hdmi signal to that smart TV.

- Answer As far as I know, the Xbox One S does not have a Displayport jack. You will probably have to repair the HDMI port.

QuestionI am running a 1050ti which has 1 HDMI, 1 Display Port, 1 VGA. I recently purchased a Freesync which only had an HDMI input. My monitor claims it can support Freesync. I do not see the option when using HDMI to HDMI. Will this make Freesync work?

- Answer Thats very odd, most freesync monitors should have a DP input. To be honest with you, im not 100% sure, but from what I know, a HDMI in the connection from HDMI to DP will throttle the performance making it similar to if it was just HDMI to HDMI.

- Answer No, it does not work with your laptop. It seems that your computer does not have a DisplayPort. If your computer has a MiniDisplay Port you could try to use a MiniDisplay port to HDMI adapter. David M. - Insignia Support

- Answer So long as your monitor plugs into the female end of the Adapter and your graphics card as an available DisplayPort for the male end. I personally three monitors with the adapter being used for the third because the GTX 1070 lacks a second HDMI. Long story short, yes you can.

- Answer I don’t know if it will port 144hz but my monitor has 75hz and it runs at 75hz perfectly with no dips or stutters I don’t see why it wouldn’t work at 144hz

- Answer First, what are the outputs on your graphics card? If you have an HDMI and a display port out, you SHOULD be able to use this adapter plus 2 HDMI cables to run dual screens. One HDMI cable from the graphics card to the primary monitor. Second, you plug this adapter into your graphics card display port out. You plug the second HDMI cable into the adapter and second monitor. Hardware wise this should work, however you would still need to tell your operating system (such as windows) to run two screens. In windows 10: Right click on desktop Display settings In the multiple displays section hit detect if they aren't showing up Keep in mind these adapters take display port signal and convert them to HDMI passively. It will not work to convert HDMI to DP, that would require an active (powered) adapter.

- Answer Make sure your at 30fps. This isn't 2.0 so it won't do 4k at 60fps. I had same problem. It will do 1080@ 60fps.

- Answer If your monitor has a hdmi port it would be easier to get your ps5 to display with a hdmi to hdmi cable most likely the reason it’s not displaying is the PS5 does not support display port
