“The metal shut off wand is plastic and always stays in the off or up position. How can I get it to lower to the on position so it makes ice? There isn’t anything in the directions plus the directions say it should be metal.”

• Same question. On/off switch makes no difference. Don't see a metal wire signal arm and afraid to force the plastic signal arm.

• There is an on offswitch on mine. I don't do anything with the wand.
