Easy to install, Works great, makes plenty of ice.

Brought this Insignia Ice Maker with a new stainless steel refrigerator from our Best Buy in Bayamon, Puerto Rico At first it was not working correctly. Was not making any ice cubes for the first 24 hours only spilling water on the ice cube tray . But the second day it started working properly. Still checking it out if it stops working .

I like the ice cubes instead of half moon shaped ice,it works great

Bought this ice maker withe the bottom freezer fridge from Insignia and it’s a great addition instead of use a counter top ice maker. Easier for the children to get ice for their drinks and making cocktails when friends are over.

I have had to have this ice maker replaced 3 times since I bought it last June because of water leakage. This fourth icemaker is also leaking water so the ice freezes in a pool of water. I stir the ice every morning before leaving the house, but sometimes it has already leaked and the cubes can’t be broken apart even or I’m in a rush and cant stir it. So, I have to have it replaced again.

It worked just fine for a year and just as my warranty ran out, the tray warped, flooding my freezer. I was told by Insignia customer service that there was nothing they could do since it went bad half a month after the warranty ended. Buy at your own peril.

Very loud when the ice is dropping into the bucket. Ice in the bucket seems to melt and clump all together.

This ice maker is for specific brand/models. Do your research as i found an error on the BB website. Otherwise, this installs relatively easy (if you have basic mechanicL skills) and works as it is intended. It can be a little loud but thats an ok trade off with consistent ice making. Would recommend.

Kinda slow at making ice. It is very noisy. The ice cubes themselves are good size.

Easy to install, works good , don’t expect an abundance of ice quickly. However the cubs are uniform and solid so the last longer than ones with air bubbles . You will need to purchase a connection kit from water line in you’re house to the water pump for ice maker

The icemaker is nice. But getting it and installing it... UGH. Getting it: If you're like us and want to add the icemaker after you've had the refrigerator delivered, you'll find that it costs $100 to have it delivered (plus the $99 for the product). I tried to have it delivered to the store to save the hundy, but they couldn't do that - so I called and was told that I needed to go into the store and they could zero out the delivery fee - and that the person on the phone could not offer that. That's way too many hoops to jump through, but hey, we wanted ice. So I drove to the store to order the icemaker for delivery to my home. Rediculous, right? Installation: The instructions and included hardware were pretty confusing and missing screws. What should be 20 minutes turned into an hour of decrypting and roulette choices. They give you two sets of three screws and three pairs of holes - meaning you have mismatched screws. It all worked out, but drilling holes into your new freezer is pretty stressful.

Very clearly instructions to have installed myself and great product

This product is VERY LOUD. It sounds like a tiny construction crew is running drills and dumping buckets in my kitchen . It does what it says, however, it makes ice.

This is a fine ice maker for the cost. The instructions are a bit confusing, and some of the parts that came in our box were for the top-freezer model. Do make sure you get the right model, as one has parts to mount for top freezers and the other is for bottom freezer mounts. It took me about an hour to install. It has been running flawlessly since then (45 days). It doesn’t make ice quickly: it took more than 48 hours to fill the ice tray. It is very quiet in operation.

Does it's job. Makes ice. Easy to install. Would recommend.

Ice maker was very easy to install it was a perfect fit for my refrigerator and works with no issues

This was a second unit for a new refrigerator. The first one barely lasted 2 months. And this one has not been delivered yet. Installation date is another month! Hopefully 2 nd one last longer.

It keeps my ice basket full! So my beverages are always ice full
