• I have the same type if TV, and it did not work for me. I followed the directions on this product and my sound bar, but with no success. I'm taking it back to Best Buy.

• Installed the unit as I have the same, two wires from surround sound on radio to optical on new TV and could not get it to work. Maybe I am doing something wrong, not sure. So it would be up to you what you are willing to try. I keep messing with it.
