• A:Answer I had the same problem. Went on Google and found the answer. There is a SOUND setting on your TV. I was instructed to switch it away from the factory setting to the alternate choice and it work fine immediately. Unfortunately, I don't remember the two SOUND setting choices - but you may be able to find the same site that I found - or just try to look at the SOUND setting options on your TV. and switch them.

Q: Questionwhen I convert optical to rca I GET an Echo in my RIF6 Earphones. The tv sound and earphone sound is out of sinc and causes an echo????? doesn't happen before the conversion.

• A:Answer No it will not work. The conversion is digital to analog, not analog to digital. The signal is directional. You need an analog to digital converter (RCA input, digital (optical or coax) output)
