• Yes, my Apple TV works great with the Sony 4K tv. No problem at all. The HDMI has 4 ports on the tv and one is dedicated to the Apple TV end we use it even though the new remote can connect directly to Netflix and other apps via WiFi.

• This device will convert a digital audio connection to the analog red/white RCA connections. The devices involved do not matter, the connection types are all that matters.

• Yes if your Apple TV has Optic output and your receiver has RCA Input. You can also use the output from your display source instead. It will save you money.

• IF the Apple TV3 has an optical or coaxial out, then it should work. Make very certain that the output is switched on.
