It is HDMI 1.4a and HDCP 1.4 compliant. You can connect any media device such as a cable box, laptop, FireTv stick, Apple TV, etc. and duplicate its contents to 2 different displays at the same time. The device features a switch to select between 2 EDID settings; COPY and AUTO. The device comes with a USB power cable which can be plugges into the USB port of your laptop or TV or any 5V/1A USB power adapter to power the unit. It is perfect for any commercial or personal home theatre setups. It does NOT EXTEND Laptop or PC display to have different program on both screens. Use the OREI SplitXtend dual display adapter for extended displays.
