I had the same problem. Went on Google and found the answer. There is a SOUND setting on your TV. I was instructed to switch it away from the factory setting to the alternate choice and it work fine immediately. Unfortunately, I don't remember the two SOUND setting choices - but you may be able to find the same site that I found - or just try to look at the SOUND setting options on your TV. and switch them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The analog/RCA side goes into the "audio in (2 channel)" on the receiver for the audio mode you'll select when watching TV. Make sure your TV's audio setting has the digital out put turned on. Most are off by default.
