Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ran into a similar situation. I think I tried it and was unable to get it to work considering it just connects to the tv. So most likely you have a cable box and it's connected via HDMI. So that already connects it to your tv audio wise and video wise. I settled to connecting it to my PS4 (while it is connected HDMI as well) and was able to change the settings to have audio connected externally. You'll also need an digital optical audio cable to complete the conversion. Hope this helps!
