“I hooked up my new Sony 3700 blu ray player to Sharp HD TV with HDMI cable. The converter connected the blu ray digital audio output to Pioneer analog receiver/amplifier. Sound through TV was fine but sound from receiver was garbled with loud clicking.”

• Dolby surround is not supported with this converter. I had to change the digital output format to PCM through the tv settings.
