“We just purchased an LG49UH6100 TV. It only has optical sound output. I want to send it to my Bose Dolby surround sound system which needs RCA input. I don't see a PCM option for TV sound output. An AUTOWT converter did not work. Will this one work? Thx”

• Sound must be PCM to work. Would be very surprised if LG tv could not support that. Look again in TV sound options.

• This will work along with a digital audio cable. We got both and hook it all up with our Sony wireless headset and new model LG tv. It works great just remember it has a little switch you have to move to make it work.

• It will work with some background noise/static and volume controls through the tv will not control the surround system

• I believe it will I hooked my bose speakers to my Samsung 4k which is optical sound with converter it clips into the TV then plug your speaker red and white into the other side of converter it's that easy remember to change your TV to external speaker that's it
