“How can I check to see if my converter box has gone bad? It was working before but the cable got unplugged and now it will not work. Replaced the toslink cable but stilll nothing. The optical port still seems to be active (red light coming out of it)”

There is a little toggle switch on side that switches between optical port and coax port. Sound prob won’t work if running optical and switch is on coax
