“I bought this converter because new TV only has optical output. I have a Bose Wave Music System. I used optical cable to converter, then used RCA cable to another RCA with aux ending to connect to the aux-in on the Bose. All I get is a buzzing sound.”

• I chose to connect my new tv to an older stereo using a Logitech bluetooth receiver. You dont need to buy the optical cable and for me the setup took only 5 minutes. I have it plugged into the switched outlet of the audio receiver so it is only on when I turn on the receiver. When it is not on my Samsung tv automatically reverts back to the main tv speakers.
