• I just measured the headset in the base and it was just under 7 inches high.

• Sorry, I am not interested in the base of the headphones... to much base makes it hard to hear the words.. the head phones work for me as I am a little hard of hearing and I use them just to listen to my TV shows without having to turn up the volume.
