As long as your tv has a video out plug (rca) no problem 
Super simple and it is a God send to my hard of hearing mom

If your TV has an audio out/In, you will not need any other accessories. I own 3 pairs of these and love them

Everything that you need is included in the box and was very easy to install. My mother-in-law that has lived in a nursing home for more than 12 years is using these headphone every single day and loves them. She is 91 years old and has had no problems adjusting the volume and getting them to the base unit so that they can be charged. 
Also, they work perfectly with her hearing aid and does not cause any whistling. 
Buy a set for your elderly loved ones. 
I would highly recommend for any age and application.
