I would take it back to Best Buy. It may be defective.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.What sort of error occurs? Is it during playback-will it play back? Does your CD skip? It could be because your CD is dirty, scratched, warped. You might want to try a different CD, or clean and/or make sure the CD is inserted with the label side up. Alternatively, you may also want to change the CD player's batteries if it's not receiving any power. If it continues to fail, then I would recommend bringing it & the receipt, back to the place of purchase to pursue replacement.
