Why it shows error? null

I would take it back to Best Buy. It may be defective.

Some home made CDs don't work. Make sure they are MP3. Not Apple iTunes MP4. That should fix.

clean it, even if it's new. Use a cd player cleaner disc.

What sort of error occurs? Is it during playback-will it play back? Does your CD skip? It could be because your CD is dirty, scratched, warped. You might want to try a different CD, or clean and/or make sure the CD is inserted with the label side up. Alternatively, you may also want to change the CD player's batteries if it's not receiving any power. If it continues to fail, then I would recommend bringing it & the receipt, back to the place of purchase to pursue replacement.
