- Answer I have an Aldi version of same exact ice maker. Bought it in July, 2020. Use it every day. Last month I noticed fan not running and no ice being made. Unit extremely warm. Turned out fan had shorted out due to water dripping on it. Opened up unit. Supply hose from tank to ice making tray was cracked in 2 places. Replaced 1/4" od hose and fan. Working like normal again

QuestionI’m having issues getting it to make small. We put the setting on small but the size keeps coming out the big ones. We turned it off and back on and even unplugged it. Anyone ideas on what we can do

- Answer if the condenser fan is running full bore when its running the head pressure will go down then the evaporator gets to cold and freezes alot faster then normal

QuestionNot exactly sure when I purchased but hasn’t been a year. The ice maker randomly quit working. Filled with water, turned on and nothing. No pump of water no flap moving, no fan. Just sits there doing nothing. Powers on though, just no motion after that.

- Answer Same. I just spent a long time doing a deep cleaning of it just for it not to work :( fan doesn't work, nothing is turning on except the power button. I think i have had this for 1.5 years only.

QuestionI've had this ice maker for exactly 3 months tomorrow and today it stopped working. The "ADD WATER" light is on. I followed the instr. of filling to fill line and turning off/on and ensuring water is not too cold or warm. Any help is appreciated to fix!

- Answer Unplug it for a few minutes then turn it back on and turn the the light back on and that should reset it.If that doesn't work check the filter to make sure the line is not stopped up with mineral deposits.
