- Answer No. If you want to clean it just rinse and wipe reservoir out. Recommend using bottled purified water.

- Answer Did you turn it on? Simply plugging it in does nothing. You have to fill it with water, select the size and turn it on.

- Answer DO NOT buy this product!! Ice Maker quit working after 3 months. Even though the Insignia brand is owned by Best Buy, they would not support the 1 year warranty!! We will not shop at Best Buy again!!

- Answer Clean it with just warm water but if you do use soap make sure you rinse it thoroughly and dry it with paper towel, leave the top open till completely dry. I’ve used a blow dryer to speed up the drying
