• This is not a remote replacement. It is only an IR extender. It allows you to put a device that already has an IR remote behind a door (in a closet or cupboard) and then allows you to redirect the Signal of the existing remote to a small receiver end and to the device that is now "out of sight"... but you still need to use your existing remote.
