“Insignia sound bar with UHD television Hi - The volume on my Samsung UHD is somewhat low for movies and I want a sound bar. I do not want the darn subwoofer or anything. I just want to improve the quality of the sound. I see rave reviews for the insignia sound bar and am just wondering if it will work to improve sound on a UHD television. Thanks!”

Yes! I wasn't looking for surround sound. Just more volume than what my TV provided. Love the slim design and the fact that there is not a big subwoofer to mess with was a great thing for me! I love it!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure which TV you have, and I probably wouldn't have experience w/ that specific model, but I used this to replace a Samsung 50" plasma TV, and it definitely made everything sound better.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would ask the store personnel. I feel fairly certain the answer is yes, but we do not have an hd TV. This is really an inexpensive solution to boosting the sound quality and I think worth going to a store or calling and asking a technician.
