This device has rca and optical in, which should work with most TVs. Just be aware that some optical is coaxial, this one uses a spdif optical. It can.be fixed with a cheap converter. This thing will pair with any android device.

It works on our Sony TV, but it's an older one still a flat screen but not sure what year it is, it was given to me. Yes will work on an android phone, my husband has an android base phone and works well together.
