Will this work with a chromebook? null

Yes-it will work with a Chromebook. Once you plug the USB microphone in the device will ask you if you want to use the external microphone. Choose the external microphone when prompted. I purchased this for a student in our school district and he is using it successfully with a Chromebook.

It will it's a simple plug in for your USB. But the microphone was not responsive. My headphones that comes with a mic does better than this brand.

It should. I used it for a laptop and a desktop, both running Windows 10. It is plug and play, so it really should work on a chromebook, as long as you have a usb port. Hope that helps.
