Q: What external microphones work with Microsoft 10?
A: I'm using Windows 10 with this mic, and it's been great. After I upgraded to Windows 10, my soundcard wasn't working very well (it needs a Win 10 update, but the company that makes it hasn't bothered yet). So I bought this mic for dictation, and it works flawlessly. Hope that answers your question.
Q: How long is the cord/cable?
A: The cord is six feet long from the microphone to the transformer on the cord, then another foot to the USB connector.
Q: Is it compatible with Windows 10 to talk to Cortana ?
A: The setup utility for Cortana says this type of mic is not ideal. I set mine up anyways, which took a couple tries because it couldn't understand me, but once I got through it successfully it has been working flawlessly for me, and understands me quite accurately
A: Yes, it's easy just use a port in the front of the computer, the newer one's all have them in front and in back. The cord is long enough for either. My computer is from Best Buy, my new flat screen and the sound bar, I'm a senior also. They all work great.
Q: Does this mic work with loudspeakers or do you have to use headphone to avoid feedback.
A: Works fine with my speakers
Q: Has anyone used this with Dragon dictate software for a PC?
A: I use it every day with Dragon. Works great.
Q: Does this work with windows 10 and zoom?
A: Yes with windows 10, I don't know what zoom is. But I use windows 10 plugged it in and windows knew what it was and connected. works fine.
