Anyone else experience that the mic is too quiet even turned all the way up? So I have the mic turned up all the way in sound settings as well as on the mic itself and it still seems really quiet unless i'm pretty much right up to it. Anyone else experience this with theirs?

No, try another port, rear or front on your computer if you have that option, sounds like a defective unit or a weak sound card. Have you tried another mic in that port?

Yes. The clarity was great at 2-3 inches but useless as a desktop mic.

Yes, poor quality audio pickup and no adjusting for it. Meant for the most minimal use - perhaps skype and that's about it.

As I have stated in the question I already have the audio up in both the Windows settings and the application and it still seems low. Maybe that's just the way it is, have to be very close to it to be heard.

No, check the sound setting on you computer and see if the max mic volume has been turned down in windows

I did have that problem but it was resolved when I went into Windows 10 audio settings and adjusted the volume.

Yes, initially we had similar situations but later found out that the software being used need to be also configured to use that mic.
