QuestionI just bought this a little over a month ago and now its not working. Says Ethernet 2 doesn't have valid IP configuration. I have unplugged, turned off, reset, did everything I can think of. Why all of a sudden it doesn't have a valid IP configuration!!

- Answer Go to Device Manager, delete the device and driver, reboot and once you are back to Windows main screen, plug it back in and allow it to rediscover it.

- Answer Hi TuSuave, When you plug a USB 3.0 Ethernet adapter into a USB 2.0 port, it will still work at reduced speed, as long as your operating system has a driver for it. It will still negotiate a gigabit link speed with your Ethernet switch, and you'll get whatever speeds your system can manage. It will be faster than 100 megabits. - Answer No, my package did not contain one. Most operating systems and hardward these days will automatically recognize the device and give the computer access. The package mentions it is automatically recognized without a need for driver downloading.
