A:AnswerAfter my surface pro 7 would go into standby mode, every time it would “wake up” the sound wouldn’t work (opposite of your problem). I fixed it by just unplugging the converter from the usb-c and reinserting it.
A:AnswerI have the same question, I have a ZenBook as my work laptop, tried to connect the dongle from my other personal laptop and did tell me that it did not have video support, however, my question is, I was able to use the USB-A to HDMI to get a second (3rd total) screen for my 14" ZenBook, I guess that is like a mini external video card or something, I was expecting Insignia to have the same for the laptops with USB-C with not DP alt Mode. my USB-C says only SS-10 or something, same as my USB-A. I don't get it.
A:AnswerSince this is only a video converter, there isn't any power transferred to the phone. There are USB-C adapters that allow for the phone to be charged from your external charger, while enjoying your video.
