“I'm using HP Chromebook with the Insignia USB-C to HMDI adapter to try and play (HBO Max shows like Wonder Woman) on my HDTV. So far i could only get the audio to play on the Tv, but not the video picture from Wonder Woman 1984. Not sure whats wrong.”

After my surface pro 7 would go into standby mode, every time it would “wake up” the sound wouldn’t work (opposite of your problem). I fixed it by just unplugging the converter from the usb-c and reinserting it.
