“I bought three of these (before they were on sale). Two work just fine. The third will not set an alarm, it always says, "there was a glitch and to try again in a minute", If I ask it to set a timer it will but not an alarm. Factory reset not working”

Change the language in the Google Home app to English (Canadian). It will fix it and the alarms will work as expected. I had the same issue and found reviews and questions from several others. This seems to be the only working fix posted by others.
