Yes, I have a Google Home Mini and multiple official Google Home devices. They all play nice together, including streaming music throughout the house on all speakers at once.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You create groups of Google home devices just as you would normally. You go to the home app > devices icon in the upper right > 3 dots for any of your devices > create group. If you have for example, a Google home, a gh mini, and an insignia assistant you can group them all together as "First floor speakers" (or whatever you want to call it). Then you would say "hey Google, play my thumbs up playlist on the first floor speakers" and music will play from all of them.
